Q. I have a clinician who entered/left my practice mid-way through the reporting year; do I need to report for this clinician?
A. You can check your clinician’s eligibility for each TIN by visiting the QPP MIPS Participation Status web page.
Q. When can I start attesting to the Improvement Activities and Promoting Interoperability Categories in DataDerm?
A. Please note that we are currently updating the 2025 program requirements on the platform. We will notify you once the updates are complete.
Q. Can my mid-level clinician report in DataDerm?
A. Yes. Your mid-level clinician will need to have a completed attestation form (available on our DataDerm resource library) sent to the DataDerm team. The team will approve of the mid-level as a DataDerm user and you can begin reporting.
Q. How can I add clinicians to my dashboard?
A. Upon logging into your dashboard, navigate to the practice management page within your dashboard to add clinicians. Or you can email dataderm@aad.org to request a clinician be added.
Q. If I am planning to report as a group, do I only need to purchase one MIPS Module?
A. Whether you are submitting data as a group or individually you will need to purchase a MIPS Module for every reporting clinician in your practice.
Q. We purchased a MIPS Module for a clinician who is not eligible to report for MIPS 2025. Can we receive a refund for their MIPS Module?
A. Yes. Please contact the DataDerm team with the AAD ID (and clinician name) so we can refund the MIPS Module purchase.
Q. I am reporting under two different TINS for the performance year. Both practices are reporting with DataDerm. Do I have to purchase a MIPS Module for each TIN?
A. No. If you are reporting with DataDerm for one or more TINs you will only need to purchase one MIPS Module.
